Michael Coleman is a local Vancouver actor, best known for his role as Happy on ABC’s Once Upon a Time.  Michael started performing in high school, sneaking onto local stand up stages through the back door and who credits a memorable conversation with Robin Williams, who was in town filming Jumanji, as a motivating force in his pursuit of acting full-time.

Some of Michael’s on-camera credits include; Once Upon A Time, Supernatural, Eureka, Psych, Blood Ties, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, numerous movies of the week and feature films. He has voiced over 100 commercial spots for radio and television and numerous characters in dozens of animated series including: X-Men: Evolution, Hello Kitty, Inuyasha, Dragonball Z, Gundam Seed: Destiny, Hamtaro, Hellsing, Transformers, Power Puff Girls, and Megaman.

Michael coaches actors around the world, focusing on Vancouver, Los Angeles and Toronto, and is known for helping actors take tangible steps forward in their careers, especially via schoolcreative.  Michael’s constant enthusiasm and relentless drive make him an indispensable part of Vancouver’s film community.
