Founded in 2011, missingNo has started to make a splash on the video game music scene where they’ve quickly gone from playing house parties to some of the largest video game music conventions in North America. Atypical for the genre, missingNo boasts a full horn section that injects a heavy, genre-bending jazz-fusion influence into their arrangements of classic and modern tunes. They’ve played at many local venues over the years, consistently blowing away the crowd with their big sound and ability to draw out the inner child in their listeners.

missingNo have also wormed their way into playing local and international nerd-themed conventions and festivals, most notably MAGFest (Music And Gaming Festival) in Washington D.C.; the largest event in North America devoted to video game music that draws a crowd of up to 10,000 guests annually! The band released a demo album in early 2013 and recorded/released a full studio album, Warp Zone, later that year, currently available on iTunes, Loudr, and Bandcamp. Currently they’re expanding their internet presence and working on collaborations with several big names in the genre.

As a special for Northwest Fan Fest, missingNo will be introducing a number of anime arrangements and other new material. Trust us: you don’t want to miss it!
